Every April, vinyl collectors and audiophiles from all over the world unite to celebrate the annual Record Store Day. First experienced in the US back in 2007, the event is now recognized in every continent except Antarctica. Officially on its second year in the Philippines, Record Store Day Pilipinas 2018 will be celebrated by Offshore Music and Satchmi together with Ayala Malls.
It’s going to be an epic day of crate digging, laughing, sharing of personal stories, learning about each other’s collections, and chilling to live performances. So whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned collector, here are a few things that you need to know:

Wanna know what makes this event special from other pop-up record stores? Every year, Record Store Day releases a list of vinyl records only available for this special occasion – from reissued classics to limited edition colored pressings. If it’s your first time using a turntable, don’t fret! Our friendly staff would love to teach you the basics of handling vinyl and using turntables.

We’re not letting the summer heat get the best of you! We’ve got iced coffee drinks and cold brew to get you through another round of crate digging. Get the hits with our craft beers from Craftpoint Brewing Co. as you sway a little (or jump around, we’re not stopping you) to some live music.
LIVE PERFORMANCES
Don’t miss out on performances from our beloved local acts! Get your groove on as the event kicks off with an all vinyl DJ set by RocknRolla. Headlining the event will be Record Store Day Pilipinas Ambassador for 2018, Ely Buendia – as he shares the stage with The Itchyworms and Apartel. We’ve also got indie favorites such as The Ransom Collective, Ourselves The Elves, One Click Straight, Tarsius, and Coeli. Performances start at 2pm.
OFFSHORE MUSIC VOL.1 ALBUM LAUNCH
Our friends over at Offshore Music will be launching their first ever compilation album – Offshore Music Vol. 1 – featuring singles from Ely Buendia, Itchyworms, Apartel, Jun Lopito, Farewell Fairweather, Rob and The Hitmen, La Loba Negra, and more.
